My Process

Building: I used pen tools to draw tle bulidings and ellipse tool to draw the circle.
Oil drum: For oil drum, i used pen tools to draw it and i make it blur.
Smoke: I use pencil tool and use stroke 8. After that, i blur them.
Oil spill: i used pen tools to draw it n blur the colour.
Oil and petrol: I used type tool to create the words.

Global Warming

Global warming is the increase in the average temperature of the Earth's near-surface air and oceans since the mid-twentieth century and its projected continuation.
The average global air temperature near the Earth's surface increased 0.74 ± 0.18 °C (1.33 ± 0.32 °F) during the hundred years ending in 2005. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) concludes "most of the observed increase in globally averaged temperatures since the mid-twentieth century is very likely due to the observed increase in anthropogenic greenhouse gas concentrations"] via the greenhouse effect. Natural phenomena such as solar variation combined with volcanoes probably had a small warming effect from pre-industrial times to 1950 and a small cooling effect from 1950 onward. These basic conclusions have been endorsed by at least thirty scientific societies and academies of science, including all of the national academies of science of the major industrialized countries. While individual scientists have voiced disagreement with some findings of the IPCC, the overwhelming majority of scientists working on climate change agree with the IPCC's main conclusions.
Climate model projections summarized by the IPCC indicate that average global surface temperature will likely rise a further 1.1 to 6.4 °C (2.0 to 11.5 °F) during the twenty-first century. The range of values results from the use of differing scenarios of future greenhouse gas emissions as well as models with differing climate sensitivity. Although most studies focus on the period up to 2100, warming and sea level rise are expected to continue for more than a thousand years even if greenhouse gas levels are stabilized. The delay in reaching equilibrium is a result of the large heat capacity of the oceans.
Increasing global temperature will cause sea level to rise, and is expected to increase the intensity of extreme weather events and to change the amount and pattern of precipitation. Other effects of global warming include changes in agricultural yields, trade routes, glacier retreat, species extinctions and increases in the ranges of disease vectors.
Remaining scientific uncertainties include the amount of warming expected in the future, and how warming and related changes will vary from region to region around the globe. Most national governments have signed and ratified the Kyoto Protocol aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions, but there is ongoing political and public debate worldwide regarding what, if any, action should be taken to reduce or reverse future warming or to adapt to its expected consequences.

p/s: The boy symbol tat appear in the gal shirt means that, that guy is always in her mind, as well as her heart. The same thing to that boy, that there is a gal symbol appear in his shirt.

my final work + process

The couple: What tools i have used for the couple?

firstly, i use pen tool to draw the couple. Then i use warp tool to modify the shape. After fill in the colour, i group them.

The street light: The tools that i used are pen tool and wrap tool. For the street light, i put more

effort on the light of the bulb with the transparency and the gradient. Slowly

adjust them until the light look like spread to focus the couple. For the light, i

had make it into blur form.

The branch: I use pen tool to draw the branch. I also make the effect of shadow.

The flowers: I use pen tool to draw the flower. After that, i copy paste them into another five

flowers. Then i used selection tool and rotate tool to resize and re-adjust the

direction of the flower.

The words: I used type tool for all the words. Then i used stroke to darker them, so that they

more obviously. I also used the style to make them into wave or flag shape.

The U.S. Greeting Card Association estimates that approximately one billion valentines are sent each year worldwide, making the day the second largest card-sending holiday of the year behind Christmas. The association estimates that women purchase approximately 85 percent of all valentines.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

My second assignment is valentine's day. Why i choose valentine's day? This is because I feel that valentine's day is avery romantic and sweet day. For girls, during valentine's day, they will receive presents from their behalf or admirer. In addition, for that who are unrequited loving with someone, it is the chance for them to vindicate.

In this assignment, i using most purple colour. As purple colour gives sense of romantic.

Hi everybody...my name is Xin Yi. I am 18 this year and juz finished my SPM. I am from Bukit Mertajam that also known as BM, Penang. Currently I am studying in FCM in Multimedia University...feel quite nervous when I first time stepped into this University. I like Jay Chow alot...I never get bored listening to his songs...erm...my favourite colour is black and white as it is easy to mix and match. I am sure every girl like to be pretty right?? I am one of those... I also like sleeping and reading books.Most of my time spent on sleeping...It make me so relax...haha...I hope I can find some new friends here.
